Benefits from PIER for my career (Cooperation of DESY and Universität Hamburg): I joined in the astroparticle group at Universität Hamburg as a PhD student in winter, 2014 and the PIER graduate school in early 2015. At the very beginning, I started attending the German language class only followed by the other PIER activities i.e. Research Skills Development, Presentation, Publishing and Communication Skills etc. Over the three and half years of my PhD, the bond with the PIER Team members became strong and I really spent a very nice time with them during PIER Graduate Week or the other activities. In particular, I would like to thank PIER graduate school, for providing the travel grants for international conferences.
