The course is an introduction to Linux and basic programming in the terminal (bash) to automate everyday tasks. It requires little to no prior programming knowledge.
Basics of Linux and Bash like simple commands, regular expressions, bash-scripts , makefiles and git are communicated. For further information on course content and agenda see the materials section of the registration site.
All workshops are free of charge for registered PhD students of the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School.
This course is a repitition of the last course in June.
