A Graduate Education Program at DESY in Cooperation with Universität Hamburg
PIER is pleased to announce its next PIER Startup Workshop "Trends, Markets and Opportunities - Market Analysis for Startups" for early stage researchers (PhD students and Postdocs), taking place remotely (via Zoom) on 7 October 2022.
In this workshop, we equip scientists and graduates with the entrepreneurial skills that will enable them to independently evaluate their own business ideas, identify potential markets and develop products or services, which precisely meet the needs of customers. When starting a business, it is important to recognize current trends in technology, society and the economy. It is the market itself and the inherent competition for customers that decide about the success of each company. As a result, it is crucial for start-ups to develop a market-oriented perspective that is customer-centric. The growing complexity of economic problems and the multifaceted nature of global correlations are just a few of the factors that make corporate planning increasingly complex and make strategy formulation even more challenging.
The aim of this workshop is to provide our participants with the basics of market analysis in an interactive and practical way. We will equip them with the tools they need in order to further develop their own business ideas and business models in line with market requirements and to position them successfully in the market.
The workshop will be facilitated by Andreas Voss (Concis Group! & Friends).
