Caroline von Humboldt award for female postdocs in all research fields
The Caroline von Humboldt award recognises an excellent female postdoc and offers funding for a research project. In doing so, the Caroline von Humboldt Prize includes the opportunity to visit the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for a two-month period (Scientist in Residence). It is the first research prize awarded by the university exclusively to female scientists and it is one of the highest awards of its kind in Germany (prize money: 15.000Euro€). The Caroline von Humboldt award is designed to offer sustainable support to exceptional female scientists active in any field of research within any given country. Eligible are female scientists who graduated within the last seven years and who do not yet hold tenured professorships. Candidates for the award can only be nominated by professors from universities and external research institutions. Direct applications are not accepted.
