Scientists affiliated with the Universität Hamburg could apply for funding of projects connected to COVID-19, in aim to support international collaboration in research, awareness and the fight against COVID19 and its effects. Scientists and scholars of all departments are welcome to apply for funding up to 15,000 € per project.

Das Stipendium unterstützt deutsche Doktorand/innen, die zu Beginn ihrer Promotion ein vier- bis sechsmonatiges Forschungsprojekt an einer U.S.-Hochschule planen. Die Stipendienleistungen beinhalten die Finanzierung der Lebenshaltungskosten in Höhe von 1.600 Euro/Monat, der Reisekosten, einer Unkostenpauschale (300 Euro), die Kranken- und Unfallversicherung, die kostenfreie Beantragung des Fulbright J-1 Visums und die Aufnahme in das internationale Fulbright-Netzwerk.
