Fulbright-Stipendien: Das Stipendium unterstützt deutsche Doktorand/innen, die zu Beginn ihrer Promotion ein vier- bis sechsmonatiges Forschungsprojekt an einer U.S.-Hochschule planen. Die Stipendienleistungen beinhalten die Finanzierung der Lebenshaltungskosten in Höhe von 1.600 Euro/Monat, der Reisekosten, einer Unkostenpauschale (300 Euro), die Kranken- und Unfallversicherung, die kostenfreie Beantragung des Fulbright J-1 Visums und die Aufnahme in das internationale Fulbright-Netzwerk. Es gibt zwei Bewerbungsfristen: Der 15. September eines Jahres (Posteingang) für einen Aufenthaltsbeginn in den USA im April oder Mai des darauffolgenden Jahres. Der 15. 40 Stellen im Bereich Führungsnachwuchskräfte bei Internationalen Organisationen (Bewerbungsschluss 2018:
Mit dem Programm „Junior Professional Officer/ Beigeordnete Sachverständige“ (JPO-Programm), das unter der Federführung des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) durchgeführt wird, steht der Bundesregierung ein erfolgreiches und international anerkanntes personalpolitisches Instrument zur Nachwuchsförderung im Kontext der Vereinten Nationen zur Verfügung. Im Rahmen der zweiten aktuellen Ausschreibungsrunde im Rahmen des Programmjahres 2018 sind 40 neuen JPO-Positionen ausgeschrieben.
Gesucht werden Hochschulabsolvent*innen mit deutscher Staatsangehörigkeit und 2-4 jähriger Berufserfahrung, sehr guten Englischkenntnissen und Schwerpunkten u.a. in Naturwissenschaften und Ingenieurswesen.

Klaus Tschira Boost Fun:
The Fund supports excellent scientists by accelerating careers and making research more flexible. The program aims to support scientists during the beginning and middle stage of their careers (postdoc, junior research group leader etc.). The program supports scientists in the natural science, mathematics, and computer sciences at universities and non-university research institutions in Germany. Christiane Nüslein-Volhard-Stiftung (CNV-Foundation) Funding for Women scientists in the field of experimental natural sciences with children

The grants of the Foundation are aimed at excellent women scientists in the field of experimental natural sciences. The CNV-Foundation sponsors graduate students from the start of the second year of their thesis and as long as the project is still in its experimental stage. With postdoctoral fellows the foundation is particularly keen to support those who have changed their area of research after their doctoral studies. Eligible to apply are graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of all nationalities, who are conducting their research at a German university or research institute, as well as postdoctoral fellows who have obtained their doctoral degree at a German university and continue their research abroad. The stipend is not intended to cover the living expenses of the applicant and her family. These must already be covered from other sources. It is expected that during the funding period the applicant work full time and full time daycare is already provided for and financed. Application deadline is on November 30st of each calendar year.
